Brand concept and identity for a music and light festival combining post-punk and electronic music with projection mapping and interactive art installations

Logomark

I created this logomark by incorporating the 'Q' glyph from the typographic logo to symbolize the geometric essence and dynamic motion of light projection and music.

Poster Design

I designed individual posters to showcase the musical and visual artist lineup, employing rectangular and linear forms to construct a grid pattern reminiscent of a dancefloor and pixelation.

Website

I created a prototype of an interactive website using Figma, aimed at engaging users with information about visual and musical artists, along with easy navigation for accessing tickets and schedules. The website incorporates animations, typography, and patterns, all consistent with the Quantum brand system.

Lanyards

I designed three distinct lanyard designs tailored for staff members, visual and musical artists, and event photographers, with each category represented by custom icons that echo the geometric essence of the brand.

Wristbands

I designed entry wristbands to distinguish festival participants each day, integrating the color scheme, typographic logo, logomark, and other brand elements for consistency.

Tickets

I crafted each ticket with a consistent grid layout and design, incorporating distinct colors for clarity and coherence across the event days. Day one tickets feature a Crayola color scheme, day two tickets are represented by Moss, and day three tickets are adorned with a Poppy color palette, ensuring clarity and eliminating confusion.

Billboards

I designed several billboards to capture the attention of passing drivers, employing the typographic logo, an electric color palette, intricate patterns, and bespoke icons to promote the event. Additionally, I utilized a grid system to ensure consistency across the billboards, reinforcing a recognizable brand identity.

Wayfinding

I developed wayfinding elements aimed at providing clear direction, navigation, and effective communication by incorporating simple iconography and brand elements such as the typographic logo, logomark, color palette, and custom icons.

Patterns

I crafted a diverse range of patterns utilizing a grid structure, geometric shapes, electrical symbols, and the vibrant color palette to convey the dynamic energy of music and the movement of light.

In crafting this animation with Adobe After Effects, I employed the custom music icon to construct a grid, symbolizing the kinetic energy, pulsation, and dynamism inherent in electronic music. I aimed to encapsulate the sensation of being on a dance floor encapsulated by vibration.

In producing this animation, I utilized the custom visual art icon to mimic the fluidity and depth of light movement, integrating projection mapping techniques to craft an immersive and captivating animated experience.
